I'm sorry but no one can have any models is not ok! > This will result in Mozilla and Apple having to licence Google's model, or ship a model that's quirks-compatible with the Google model This feels way way way over the top madcap absurd.

We need to do something & you are demanding an unattainable perfection that can never be met. The FUD against doing anything cannot be allowed to obstruct. These claims are far too pearl clutching. Quirks are not going to be radically confounding like you project.

There has to be some willingness, some ability for the perfect not to become the enemy of the good. You've set up a series of hand wringings anticipating using long prompts for quirks, anticipating in some possible cases perhaps that being a disaster. It seems outlandish, & a pitiful naysaying.

It feels enormously speculative. You're saying you see this as a problem. But we don't. It's all "trust me" views. It all feels stacked upon many worst case assumptions. Whose outcome seems unlikely to be actually *that* bad in the first place.

Blocked by this dude for being yes a bit harsh but basically asking: what possibly can you offer here? bsky.app/profile/jaun...

This proposal seems so close to what ai-sdk offers. It encompasses the basic agentic loops reasonably well. I don't see any major faults. The web constantly adds new options & capabilities to existing APIs. What if anything makes this actually a bad starting place? What about this API isn't good?
