has anyone been to the mint museum in north carolina / did you see this sam gilliam commission before it was taken down? and like, these *for sure* faded in what must be glaring sun, right? no way their deinstallation isn't conservation related.

I only visited once for a work trip (when it was closed) and can't remember. But Norfolk's Chrysler Museum of Art has a similar Gilliam install (as of 2021.)
