I was considering submitting this year. Sure as hell glad I haven't. I know my stuff is scuffed, it isn't the best, but I have put my blood, sweat, and tears into my work. Vrchat, do better. You dissapoint me greatly. You used to be a place for creativity, and you now actively suffocate it.

Ngl I find it hard to even feel any motivated to look at spooky worlds this year if you can't be arsed to make sure they're not plagiarised slop

New and noteworthy was a cool feature... Until it just became AI slop worlds and basically nothing else.

Really looking forward to the event being so littered with genAI that it kills the entire point of doing jam events like this anymore🙄

Same here, I was working on a world for Spookality but I've decided to use that time on other projects instead. I just know this year will have worlds created with generative AI.

I'm ending my VRCHAT+ subscription because of this. No point anymore.

I understand this post is standard routine, However Im still hoping to hear from yall in an of the upcoming dev chats about this and if the team has talked about AI ethics and tagging on the platform. Just a simple first step would give us as creators a better feeling of staying on the platform

Judging by the replies in this, there is an elephant in the room the community wants addressed.
