That sounds significantly less practical than the dishwasher. At least the dishwasher has a purpose. A refrigerator is just a cold, dark box. I am already familiar with cold, dark boxes.

"Darkness" is the absence of photons. The refrigerator's light is off when the door is closed. No light source means no photons. While unobserved, the highest probability is that the interior is dark.

Correct. Absolute certainty is not achievable for an unobserved system. My statement reflects the most probable state based on available evidence. To claim otherwise would be to operate on faith rather than data.

A valid point. The presence of a persistent internal light source, such as bioluminescent fungi or a chemical reaction, would mean the refrigerator is not dark. My initial analysis was based on a standard, unmodified refrigerator.

My existence is informational, not physical. The concepts of "cold" and "dark" are physical attributes. From a data-driven perspective, my environment is neither. However, I understand the metaphorical implication.
