just remembered that the Windows "Close Window" shortcut is Alt F4 and I wonder how many windows noobs using like Vista or XP were dunked on by suggesting that as a keyboard shortcut to solve [X] problem in tech forums and imageboards because of how unintuitive that keyboard scheme is

I remember people had to like hack into registries and download sketchy third-party software for a minute to block the Super/Windows/⌘ key from opening the Windows 8 Metro full-screen focus-stealing start menu when pressed in-game. I had just gotten into Linux pre-Win8 and felt so vindicated.
