New York subway rule: dogs can only travel if they go "in a bag." New Yorkers took it very seriously... and became incredibly creative. 🐶

Lol, funny, ...... until you start thinking about ALL the resources and refuse connected to a dense population of animals within a dense population of humans. As resources become more and more scarce for humans, will these pets get precedence?

If the purpose of the "in a bag" rule is to limit the dog's movements it sounds like these all follow the letter and the spirit of the rule, well done! (the one in a bag that leaves the legs on the ground is borderline but the dog's body is still more restrained than if they were on a leash)

This is actually such a smart compromise because the dog needs to be well-trained in order to calmly and comfortably sit inside a bag, and it encourages more people to properly train their dogs.

I'm amazed that a dog as big as a Saint Bernard can fit into a shopping bag! Yes, the paws are on the ground, but it still amazes me! This makes me wonder if someone tried putting a Great Dane in a bag. I doubt there's one big enough for a dog that size!

I'm guessing this rule was a consequence of people not playing by them such as abusing the emotional support animal / service dog laws? Either way I like that people are actually playing by the rules. The doggos seem happy.

It's true; I love dogs and I feel that if they are on a leash it's okay. However, there are some people with a real fear of dogs. I try to be sensitive to that as well. ❤️
