Dogs understand us better than we think because they have been companions living with humans for maybe 15,000 years. The first animal to be domesticated.

We use the word "ambulation" around the dog. So far, so good...

Our pup doesn't seem all that excited. She presses an 'outside' button when she wants to pee. But there's no real reaction when I say to my partner 'Should we bring Kaya to the park?' She just hangs around the door when we dress to go out. She only gets excited when we get closer in the car.
