The way I remember this from last time (release of ch2) was that all versions of the game on PC use the same file location. I just finished rebuilding my save data (new PC) on the Itch version, and I'm going to buy ch3+4 on Steam. I'm like 99% confident my save data will carry over.

It just sounds like an encouragement to me, "when you need to fight, lock tf in and fight" Especially since this is about king and giga queen the 2 final boss
