Alternate history time: the Transphobic Kid Wizard doesn't exist. What is the fiction that spawned the fanfic that the AI sex cult centers around?

Buffy seems the obvious answer, Smallville seems the realistic option, I can see a darker timeline where it's Homestuck somehow, but I'm gonna say the funny answer is somehow Geronimo Stilton

Probably Buffy, but Homestuck as an unironic dark horse candidate.
