it's a good framing!

As someone who has aspired to learn more about kernel development but didn't quite manage to ever find the time to get into it (and even if I had... well then I get the privilege of going to LKML. Whee). I really appreciate people taking the effort to make this stuff less magic and more accessible.

Also it helps take away the mystique around kernel development that is only of value to the absolute worst kinds of kernel developers. Which should be a goal in and of itself.
