I think Grain is closer to Flickr than Instagram. Different stated audience.

I think basing the IG-alternative app off of microblogging posts is confusing and not the path to success. I think they’d be much more likely to succeed if they completely had their own post lexicon.

We just gotta get everyone on grain!
