Left leaning voters tend to demand perfection and if it isn't met stay home. Perfect is the enemy of the good. Remember left leaning Americans didn't like Hilary and Trump was elected.

You manufacture apathy by calling an unnecessary election and cynical elections aren't really part of the NDP brand promise. Let's not blame voters for reacting in a completely normal and predictable way. An unknown to a known bad. We now have a MAGA ruling party thanks to David Eby.

because most NDP voters now are center right, who don't agree with far right but hate progressives.
