Fritz Lang's Frau im Mond (Woman in The Moon, 1929) This production photo is beautiful, and the film is important: first countdown, multi-stage rocket... A visionary sci-fi movie.

Do your geek culture a favor, if you've never seen it: the film is available on YouTube🔥 It had a huge influence on what followed, truly one of the forerunners of all the other films I cover on this account. Sci-fi from a century ago.

I think it is also the first film in which a spacesuit is used to exit a ship and explore. The characters then walk around without helmets for narrative reasons...and practical ones. 😁
