It was also my first movie in a theater, and it may have been my first movie ever. I just remember crying a lot. πŸ˜‚ But I also know that I instantly fell in love with sci-fi's ability to imagine extraordinary situations to talk about humans. Hooked for life.

Star Trek, The Motion Picture. I was 6. My dad says that after an extended amount of the Enterprise flying through nebula clouds, I asked a little too loudly, "Daddy, what is going on?", which got a laugh from other people in the audience.

I think I was two or three years old, my parents brought me to the cinema to see Superman 1978. I was born that year but the movie I believe did reach Spain a couple years later or so. I do not remember, but my parents tell me I was awe struck the whole movie, silent (odd for basically a toddler) :)

I don't remember the ones I saw on TV, so... I was at the cinema when the trailer for this 'obscure' film came on, with images of space, ice, clouds, a swamp... I turned to my mother and said: "I want to see that." And I knew nothing about the saga or a previous episode.

I think this was my first sci-fi fantasy movie, but it could have been a re-release of Karel Zeman's 'On The Comet' in '72 at my local theater. Though, I was watching a lot of sci-fi (movies, shows) on UHF channels while at a young age.
