Kudos to SpaceX for figuring out that it's more efficient to simply let Starship explode on the pad rather than having to actually launch it first

Yeah, the idea is that parts of the rocket can be recovered and reused. This way, all the pieces are still right there. All you have to do is sort through the ashes.
