I honestly have no interest in another person's religion but as far as the reasoning for why Hannity renounced his is absurd. The Pope said we must strive for peace and not use God to justify violence; trump on the other hand threatened to blow up a whole country...Hannity sides with trump. 🤦

Cradle Catholic here. He was never serious if he’s renouncing his Catholic beliefs for trump, and maga’s interpretation of Leo’s words. If he were serious, he’d understand what the Pope is saying, that he wants peace, and that our God is not vengeful.

Either way, he comes off as inconsistent—and like a lot of MAGA figures, his religion feels more performative than principled.🤦🏿‍♂️

Hannity did what evangelical Christians have done—picked Trump over religion. His story isn't even straight: in 2019 he said he left the church over scandals but was still Christian; now he’s emphasizing "raised" Catholic. Either way—like a lot of MAGA, religion feels performative than principled.🤦🏿‍♂️
