I'm hopeful that the response VRChat **finally** made means that good change is coming, but I'm gonna keep monitoring. My yearly VRC+ sub is still cancelled, so they have until April to actually implement change.

Until then, either something **big** has to change for me to immediately resub (like a full-on, unambiguous ban, for example), or I'll simply wait until April to look back and see what happened since now.

Definitely not saying a full-on ban is what's needed, just that it would make things simple. Like they mention in the post, there's a line between self-made tools for creating your own work and fully generating a "final product" from prompts without any further work.

I think a full-on ban might just cause issues for policing it, especially for the small stuff. Something more nuanced would be far better. I mostly agree with where they drew the theoretical line already.

Also, leaving things unbanned and labelling them just gives incentive to the uploader to leave the heavy handed genAI tools behind so that they actually get exposure. Banning it outright makes those same uploaders want to cheat the ban.
