The TWO PARTY SYSTEM is inadequate as a representative form of government. It easily lends itself to corruption. It thwarts serious dissension. It protects regressive social & political ideas that would be challenged in a more pluralistic political system. It’s become a “Good Cop/Bad Cop” trap.
