But let me tell you something: the way #BasicIncome has been marketed to people is as a check in the mail from the government. This method comes with the following pitfalls:

1. Conditions. The government will likely make your #basicincome conditional on what you post on social media. Offend the powers that be? No basic income for you.

2. Fraud. As mentioned in our series here, only @groupincome.org gives a strong guarantee that there will be no fraud: groupincome.org/2025/06/no-e...

4. Inflation. Constant money printing with no corresponding increase in value in the economy will lead to even greater inflation. @groupincome.org Income addresses all of these problems in a privacy-preserving way.
