But let me tell you something: the way #BasicIncome has been marketed to people is as a check in the mail from the government. This method comes with the following pitfalls:

3. Surveillance. To combat fraud in a large system they will decide to make stronger ID requirements and then they'll tie this government ID to more services. Think you'll like where that goes?

Is it possible to print money and have inflation go down? Yes, but it isn't guaranteed. It depends on how it's done and what happens in the economy. #BasicIncome at a government level could work, and it could also go horribly wrong. @groupincome.org lets you try #basicincome today, safely.

They don't do that for Social Security, Greg. UBI is even more universal. Good luck attaching such a condition to something that everyone gets. It's easy to do that kind of thing for targeted welfare, not a universal program. It would piss everyone off.

A universal program will have extremely strict ID requirements, and those will then be used to control the population through a social credit system as part of CBDCs. So perhaps even they will give everyone the check, but still strictly control spending.

Greg, please step back from the conspiracy stuff. Universal policies like healthcare exist in many places without social credits. Alaska has had a UBI for over 40 years without doing special IDs. We have Social Security numbers. They work for Social Security. We did UBI for kids just fine in 2021.

I'm not going step back from reality Scott. If what you believe is true you've got nothing to worry about and I'm just a kooky kook. Without strong ID you'll have massive fraud and inflation.
