What percentage of users configured a domain name vs the default bsky.social?

Thanks! I was about to write a script myself but I figured you already had the data 😄

The reason I ask is because it looks 50/50 to me and I am not sure if I want to give up my bsky for my custom domain if that means someone could take my bsky handle.

Thought this would’ve been pretty interesting to look at so here you go: There are ~3636 people (7.97% of all users) registered with a custom domain handle.

That's pretty strong numbers. It's also reminded me I need to setup mine!

It’s actually much lower than I anticipated. Probably because everyone I’m following is in the tech industry and already has their own domain. I think I’m going to wait another week or two before registering my domain in hopes there is a solution to redirect or alias bsky.social
