I don’t judge Mitch McConnell for his choice of political party. I judge him for his greed, racism, and hunger for power. I judge him for causing irreparable damage to the Supreme Court, and not voting to convict Donald Trump. So will others. So will history.

The US is a kleptocratic Kakistocracy on it's way to becoming the greatest failed state in the history of humankind. Stop pointing out what they did or how bad they are. This is a useless endeavour & fool's game. Let's stop fucking around and start openly talk about what we're going to do about it.

From Michael A. Cohen 2019 article in NYROB: … Writing for the Review last fall, the American historian Christopher R. Browning said of the Senate majority leader, “if the US has someone whom historians will look back on as the gravedigger of American democracy, it is Mitch McConnell.”

This is my issue with so many of these guys (and gals). Do you not care how history remembers you? Sure, you may not get primaried in the next election, but do you want to go down in history as being responsible for this?

Don't count out Merrick Garland. I think historians will question how he could let congressmen, known to be involved in January 6th, remain in office. Then Garland also ignored reporting that SCOTUS justices were taking bribes.

Time to get boots on the ground and start fighting for KY. Hit rural areas first. Listen to their fears and show them how we can help them. Boots on the ground and speaking to poor whites was a huge factor in the civil rights movement.

Well said! He’s caused decades of irreparable harm to the progress this country has made. He broke norms to advanced his agenda. His recent stance on some of Trump’s nominees doesn’t change who he is. It will be a good day when he’s gone.

McConnell is a despised man, I suspect like older seniors that "worked" really late in life will die soon after retirement and while his family will hold him in high regard, those that live in his state may make a trip to soil if not do something most foul on his gravesite.

I don’t judge Mc Connell, let the historians tell his story let’s now focus on our battles today that are paved by Mc Connell’s racism, greed and hunger of power … indeed

So happy the Old Mud Turtle has outlived his usefulness! 🐢 Term limits would have been useful to alleviate that problem. The harm will remain for generations. 🐂💩⚖️

I hear you, but 94% of Republicans voted for the vile rapist, racist, liar clown felon knowing exactly who he was and what it meant, and they deserve to be judged for it. Without them, no him, no ‘all this.’ And they’re not concerned about being judged by a history they intend to (re)write.

McConnell is one of a long list of Republicans who don't believe every human is born equal. They believe (contrary to the physical & economic truth) we live in a man-eat-man, zero-sum-game world, & they are intent on making everyone who isn't them LOSE. We cannot survive unless we remove them.

"But there's no reason to vote to convict him at this time, because he'll be held criminally liable ! It's not like we have a SCOTUS batshit crazy enough to invent some sort of "presidential immunity!" Shit, even ScAlito and Dim Clarence would't go THERE!"

Spineless Mitch will go down in history for the downfall of Democracy in our country. The holding back of Obama's court nominations (which Mitch laughed at for doing) and not holding Trump to account. He is a disgusting and deplorable man, i hope he rots in hell.

PASS IT ON: TRUMP IS A FILTHY , BASTARD, CRIMINAL TRAITOR ALLOWED TO RAPE, PILLAGE AND TERRORIZE AMERICA BY A COWARDLY, COMPLICIT REPUBLICAN PARTY. WHO AMONG US IS BRAVE ENOUGH TO RID US OF THIS SCURRILOUS SCOURGE?

He was the one who broke my resolve born of my Quaker upbringing not to wish physical harm on anyone. May he burn in hell. That, or work the graveyard shift at the Popeye's in downtown Gary, Indiana, for all eternity.

Absolutely. For conducting hearings in which no documents and no witnesses were allowed (Russian election interference), this was a crown jewel of his career. Regardless of what he says now, he’s shown himself to be a complete POS. Thanks, Moscow Mitch.

I cannot see him and not think Yertle the Turtle one of Dr Seuss' villains. In 1984 he used Roger Ailes to get himself elected and soil the reputation of the sitting Democrat Senator from Kentucky.

I agree, none of what's happening today would be happening if he had just impeached and removed him after Jan 6th, but didn't...he stacked the SCOTUS with the lowest most contemptible and corrupt candidates and if only for those 2 reasons I will never forget or forgive him
