Seniors can vote.

Not sure what you are implying here but a huge percentage of us would not EVER be able to retire in penury as we are now, without these sensible programs. Are only the rich allowed to live decent lives now???

That's ridiculous. I'm a senior and am embarrassed by this stat. Seniors who can afford to pay more (Medicare) should do so.

Presumably because seniors shouldn't be in bread lines. That's why we created a safety net after the depression

Retirees' parents are usually dead, not so with children. Also, what happens when you add in the amounts states spend on children? Retirees don't need education (although they may enjoy it).

Did you substract lifetime contributions from the 2.7T, or were those a gift to Musk and Zuckerberg?

Do these numbers include Social Security payments? It shouldn't. That is a fund taxpayers paid into and the government held for their retirement Until that same government spent the money and left taxpayers an IOU We expect payment.
