I was so excited to ride the new Acela, until I got to my assigned seat and realized it is mostly windowless, and the person who controls the window is gradually lowering it :-(

This is increasingly the normal in Europe. The newer the train, the more likely. BUT check out any advert for a train company and it will have two people facing each other at a table with a good view. Highly misleading. Just be honest!
