simply acknowledging that Obsidian Sync /is/ a great, albeit, paid solution! But that I’m still sheepishly asking for a free solution…

Obsidian Git is an option, I used it before switching to Sync. Works well enough but it’s clunky on iOS. github.com/Vinzent03/ob...

there are already many free solutions our focus with Sync is making the best one, that deserves to be paid for
