This was probably a joke comment but serious check ebay, you can usually find decent ones for a lot lower price if you're fine with the lcd edition.

I thought you needed to have purchased something like a month before you purchase a Steam Deck? Am I miss remembering? Something about makijg it harder for scalpers to get their hands on bulk quantities

That was in effect on release, and I think it still applies to limited edition models. Scalpers aren't a problem for a regular Deck anymore.

What is your plan for cheaters? This is the only thing that I think for Steam!
