has anyone else never watched a single episode of Hot Ones? Is it just cause I'm a nerd that I don't really want to watch a celebrity eat a hot wing? like who does it appeal to? am I missing out?

It's not really about the hot wings, they do an impressive amount of research on each guest that allows them to ask questions you wouldn't hear anywhere else. If you're interested in the person being interviewed you'll almost certainly learn something new about them.
