A reminder that the real patriots aren’t the ones tying flags to lampposts or standing around outside 3-star hotels. They’re the ones who get stuck in within their local communities, the volunteer, the football coach, the litter picker and myriad others.

What happens if people work in our local communities, provide voluntary support, act as leaders and mentors, making lives safer and more connected as well as put up English and Union flags? Are they disqualified from your support?

Great to educate your son (and you) that life can not be presented as binary choices built about using simplistic ideologues, rather individual and complex approaches which makes our lives so interesting. No need to thank me further.
