I am catching up on #GenHour and #AncestryHour after a very busy and fun last couple of weeks on the genealogy front...

It started with a visit from Phyllis @shapeyrfamtree.bsky.social - a friend, fellow genealogist and classmate from my Masters degree. We toured Northern Ireland, including the @ulsteramericanfolkpark.org, which I recommend to anyone interested in migration from Ireland to North America. #GenHour

Then I went to Glasgow and gave three presentations on #IrishGenealogy for a short course at @strathgenealogy.bsky.social. It was lovely to catch up with the staff at Strathclyde plus fellow presenters, @chrismpaton.bsky.social, Martin Mitchell and Judith Russell. #GenHour bsky.app/profile/chri...

My last stop was Birmingham for a #genealogy conference organised by @regqualgenes.bsky.social. I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn from a variety of great speakers and to chat to many friends from the world of family history! ☺️ #GenHour bsky.app/profile/regq...
