A fascinating take on this, thanks! I once asked Claude to explain MCPs vs Skills to me, and he said: "MCPs are the access layer [...] Skills [...] revolve around user intent: each one maps to a recognisable goal. [...] An MCP gives Claude new verbs; a skill tells Claude when and how to use them."
