A bit of advice for Dems in Congress. Go home and have town halls, and listen. And stop listening to the consultants and each other. Find out what the people want, and bring that back to DC. And let the press attend the town halls so they can report. Make our own Tea Party.

Many have predicted the demise of the Republican Party but if the Dems don't show some spine by Monday, I think the Democratic Party is Dead.

Not both parties because the christofascist right has shown they don't care what the people want, they just gerrymandering their districts so we can't vote them out. Stop with the freaking "both parties", since, while not perfect, the Dems are at least not actively trying to kill the citizenry.
