A bit of advice for Dems in Congress. Go home and have town halls, and listen. And stop listening to the consultants and each other. Find out what the people want, and bring that back to DC. And let the press attend the town halls so they can report. Make our own Tea Party.

We can be The Herbal Tea Party…much healthier and calmer than the angry Tea Party types like my brother.

Many have predicted the demise of the Republican Party but if the Dems don't show some spine by Monday, I think the Democratic Party is Dead.

No they lost their way because WE STOPPED DOING OUR JOB. We are the government of the United States. They represent us. But we are the power. We all forgot that. Them and us.

Not both parties because the christofascist right has shown they don't care what the people want, they just gerrymandering their districts so we can't vote them out. Stop with the freaking "both parties", since, while not perfect, the Dems are at least not actively trying to kill the citizenry.
