Curious as to how other sellers are intending to deal with new EU legislation regarding packaging. From August 12, every package sent to another EU country will require a local representative apparently but how will that work for so many individual sellers? @bandcamp.com any help please?

From the little I’ve read on it, it does sound really prohibitive. Does that also mean people selling on Discogs or Vinted are affected? I don’t understand what UK labels are to do as a solution.

Yes, it affects everyone sending items to the EU, so Discogs and Vinted, Etsy and more!

I think we use seven different packages, so we need a letter of confirmation from each of them plus the pressing plants!

Brexit absolutely sunk my record sales to Europe (admittedly less than 50 per year, privately sold). I'm amazed anyone kept going following that fiasco.
