It’s a fun hobby! I have a Bambu P1S and it’s a great bit of kit, very easy to use. Made my fair share of mistakes with it but nothing a few panicked messages to some other friends who have 3D printers couldn’t solve 😁
Wow, that's ambitious.
I run Valetudo, which builds its own web frontend on top of the manufacturers' low-level Linux systems. Ambitious enough. This one's... oh good I'll like it if it manages to boot and ru^Wvacuum.
super cool idea but the prose in that post stinks of LLMs and it puts me right off the whole thing :/ i hate living in the future.
i hope it works out though, i reckon it'd be well fun to tinker on something like that
The other day, I was watching my vacuum slam into the same leg chair again and again and thought back to my college robotics course. Couldn't help but think I wish I could improve the floor mapping tech.
Excited to see someone brought this to fruition!
