war crimes aside, I am increasingly irritated at how much of our time and energy is eaten up by this tiny little country that treats us like dog shit and still expects endless money and deference. we have our own problems

I don't hold it against Israel that they expect endless money and deference from the US, but I do hold it against the large swaths of the US political and journalist landscape who agree with Israel on that and take it as a tenet of faith that everyone else does.
