I've mentioned the series before, but @lionsledbydonkeys.bsky.social is a must-listen. Left leaning, actually researched, and fun as hell. Not entirely WWII but they'd done a ton of WWII stuff, including a great Stalingrad series and one-offs on crazy dudes like Joseph Beyrle and Leo Major.

I think it's possible it's just even there there's a lot of stuff to unpack even from more "official" sources. Basically any German General that had a disagreement with Hitler is at risk of being deified as "Was just a good war leader" and any WW2 game has Wehraboos that love any/all German tech.
