After the news of support for DHH, will be closing my company and family @1password.bsky.social accounts today and moving everything to @bitwarden.bsky.social I don't want my money used to support biggots.

May I interest you in Proton Pass? (I have no interest, I just use and like the product and it's open non profit) proton.me/pass

proton.meProton Pass: Free password manager with identity protection | ProtonStore, share and sync passwords, passkeys, email aliases, and more, on any device, with our open-source, free password manager. No trials, just free forever.

Btw how do you find the UX?

I honestly have no complains, maybe account switching (if you have multiple Proton accounts) is a little obscure but apart from that, importing from 1pass was a breeze and usage is pretty much what you'd expect.

Awesome thanks!! I’ll try that tonight instead of bit warden, which I love in principle but I know the UX is meh

Proton Pass is great, really like it. Actually the whole Proton Suite is nice - their VPN, Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheet and even Videocalls now. They are becoming a viable Google Suite alternative. (also not sponsored, just a happy user :)

At @tempomusic.app we did adopt their workspace suite. There's one slimy business decision though : 2FA is not available on the lower tier. This makes being secure very complicated. I'm still fuming each time I see the upgrade link. @proton.me

What the fuck. I have recommended and set up 1password to SOOOOOOOOO many groups over the past decade. Are they seriously going to make me have to contact all of them? Cuz I swear I will. @1password.bsky.social, pass the word up that this ripples beyond individual cancelations.
