speaking of custom feeds, I am slowly giving up on OnlyPosts (and Bluesky)

Sorry to ask again: who cares about feeds when you are not keeping your new users ? Fix bugs & add basic functionalities. Quickly please.

I'm not really using them because there isn't an easy way to browse 40,000 feeds, and probably 99% of them are crap. Searching on keywords is Not Great for content discovery.

Similar to social data like posts, likes and follows, custom feeds are just records on the public network, so anyone who keeps an index/database of everything can check how many feeds there are and where they are hosted

Nice. One of them is mine with three different Norwegian language feeds. Not super many users using them, but they are there at least. It would probably have been easier to use one of the prebuilt generators , but much more fun and satisfying to build something from scratch. 😅

Isn't this rife with the "paradox of choice" problem for new users when they're onboarding? I mean, how is one supposed to pick the top 5 feeds FOR THEM based on their interests out of 40,000+ of them?
