After seeing a neurologist because I couldn’t feel my hands or feet. When his scan didn’t bear out his theory, he pulled a pity face and said “are you sure you’re not just depressed?” To which I said, “Sure, I am depressed, but I also can’t feel my hands” and walked out. It was severe anemia.

I will never understand how so many doctors specializing in brain and nerve conditions do not seem to understand brain and nerve conditions.
