I’m seeing a lot of posts claiming n8n is dead. I’ve never used it and I wonder if it’s a tool that has value when building enterprise scalable agents? Or did it serve a small niche that was agglutinated by something else?
still use it daily..n8n was never about the AI agents for me - they just adopted it as a primary marketing strategy when agents blew up
it's a workflow engine like Zapier, Make, etc. It just has an agent step that can do cool things - but that's 1 step out of 100s possible integrations 😊
I don't think it was ever meant to go that large - it's more of a backend system that runs internal workflows and agents within a company.
having said that, I wouldn't be surprised it can scale to that, the worker node architecture is pretty scalable. Biggest deployment I've seen was 25 workers
