Woohoo! I made two contributions to this @sequoia.pub release ✌🏼 1. Added a feature where you can add a custom bskyPostRef to the front matter that gets published with your @standard.site record. It also removes the link from the post, leaving it as an attachment only. (1/4 🧵)

tangled.orgAdds option for custom bskyPost text rather than just title, desc, and url. Also removes url from post text to save graphemes. · stevedylan.dev/sequoia@501c7bdA CLI for publishing standard.site documents to ATProto

I've been absolutely swamped lately, but thanks to the atproto community, @sequoia.pub hasn't slowed down! Here's a quick rundown: A <sequoia-subscribe> web component that lets readers create a site.standard.graph.subscription record for your publication. Huge thanks to @heaths.dev for this!

Long term, it probably makes more sense to let the user log in to their Atmosphere account and add replies directly on the post page. But that's a bigger change, and this is a good start, imo. If you want to see a live version of #2, you can see it in the comments section of my latest post. (3/4)

My blog, augment, is now not only self-hosted, but also Atmospheric thanks to @standard.site and @sequoia.pub. But, this is just the start: it will also be a space where I experiment with new ideas about what an Atmosphere-native publication can look and behave like. More in the post:

A huge thanks to @stevedylan.dev for building this tool! I have few more ideas I'm going to add to the repo in the coming weeks, but the foundation Steve has laid down for this is solid, and I'm excited to see where we can all take it :) (4/4 fin)
