ICE claims they have purchased it, and the city and county have not released a statement otherwise. I can't find anything on the Wayne County Register of Deeds website, however. If it did indeed sell, the purchase predates this notice (2/20) by at least a week.

I think it was owned or leased by Gage Marketing at one point. A while back, it was Archway Marketing Services or something like that.

The mayor went on TV last week saying the purchase was made behind the city's back. No inspections, no paperwork filed. They found out when ICE put a couple signs in the windows. Since then, Romulus city Council unanimously passed a resolution, the one you linked above.

ICE is super well-known for following the rules, so I'm sure that'll show em who's boss 🙄 Yeah. We're getting organized regardless. Romulus is a very small town, but the protest was MASSIVE.
