Attie remains a closed beta and you can sign up for the waitlist if you're not in yet In the meantime, happy to answer any questions from atproto devs about what this is and how it works

Announcing Attie site builder! Starting today, Attie users can build small social pages like an AMA, a guestbook, or a survey your friends will argue about for a week. We made a few to get you started. Go make a better one and share it: attie.ai

The TL;DR is that we created a simple serverless backend with a database api which abstracts atproto. It's in a "works well enough for now" state, but if it gets stronger you'll hear more about it from me. Here's a silly thing I made jogging-loyal-bison.attie.site

jogging-loyal-bison.attie.siteThe Most Dangerous GameBait the cat under the blanket and click to pull your hand away before it strikes. Tracks your wins and losses.

That sounds great; I think of the atmosphere as one big database and I'd love an abstraction that lets my code do so too. Is the cat game doing anything atmospheric beyond living in your PDS?

nah it's just a very trivial example, much more interesting integrations will come though

Exciting. I'll look forward to seeing them. How are the sites stored in the PDS? I don't see any attie.ai or wisp.space records on yours.

Oh sorry - theyre not currently stored in the PDS, we're waiting for spaces to finalize for that
