Servers went back for seconds and are regretting it. Images might not load for a bit

You guys are doing amazingly well despite the massive surge. No hiccups. No fail whales. I guess you are thinking ten steps ahead. Wish this was possible without using AWS and making Bezos richer.

thank god I've been posting mine as data URIs

Great job guys. I am forever grateful for you getting this up and administering the site so well. Thank you. I hope you had a good thanksgiving day even tho you are working what must be 24/7 😎

fake accounts are getting thousands of followers, and Bluesky has to suspend them manually. I challenge Bluesky not to suspend these accounts if domain verification alone is enough for people. People don’t even look at the username; they just focus on the display name

Even on bsky's worst day images still load faster here than on Shitter. On normal days it's actually stunning, the difference. Has anybody written something on Bsky's infrastructure? For curious nerds?

Maaan I haven't noticed anything. I am very impressed by the load I imagine your infra is under. Fair warning I'm gonna find out what magic backend bullshit you guys are doing and I'm gonna copy some of it.
