In reviewing election results, at first my thought was that unless an incumbent pisses people off, they win. But the Morales campaign just went out and beat Smiley. Maybe Providence voters were pissed off but compared to what the voters thought of McKee, it didn't seem like much anger at Smiley.

The responses to this sound like PVD voters were mad. So that makes more sense too. I wondered why incumbents like Matos won or my local state Senator. Maybe people didn't see a reason to kick them out. The power of incumbency is tough.

Ranked voting for LG would have been interesting though Sabina and Xay were 1-2 in about 90% of the races.
