The guy got in jail for living in an area of Ukraine that was occupied by Russia. To free that guy you removed sanctions? It’s like treating a headache with beheading.

The tone is too measured, and some of the words are unlikely. Trump rarely, if ever, uses long words when his favorite short words work better. Why ‘numerous’ when ‘many’ is easy and hugely bigger?

So the author of “The Art of the Slavering Surrender” traded away Ukrainian sovereignty for one American who went to Ukraine on his own. Hubbard will still be a hostage when he is led before cameras to recite canned praises for our grubbiest president.

See, the point is - why not free all who were occupied (aka Russia getting the heck out of Ukraine) and then consider removing sanctions? Then one might get that Nobel Prize.. or at least the Noble Prize they tweet about.

Speaking of peace prizes, any idea when infantino will announce who the nominees for this year’s FIFA International Donald J Trump Memorial Peace Prize are and when and at which Donald j trump golf course the awards ceremony will take place? I can’t find any info about it anywhwere.

“Listen, Vlad. People are gonna be pissed if I don’t get something for sanctions relief. C’mon. Think you could free one measly hostage as a favor to an old pal?”

still don’t know why we have two real estate agents conducting foreign policy on our nation’s behalf. and by the fucking way, where the f is little marco big shoes?? isn’t he a secretary of something? does he have any f’ing idea what’s going on? does jared ever debrief him? pathetic embarrassment

Hubbard's release is welcome. But Trump says imposing new sanctions would have stopped negotiations, after insisting the U.S. gave nothing in return. He waived sanctions Congress had approved. Was withholding those sanctions part of the understanding with Putin?

So the Orange Russian agent has thrown Ukraine under the bus to save one American citizen, no offence to this man but that’s not a very good trade. The art of the deal everyone.

The analogy holds. Trading sanctions for one prisoner turns a hostage into a price tag, and Moscow reads that as an invitation to take more. Relief has to cost the aggressor something, not reward the taking.

BULLFUCKINGSHIT!!! I WILL SAY IT AGAIN FOR THOSE IN THE BACK ANYTHING OUT OF THIS ADMIN IS BULL FUCKING SHIT!!!
