The key is to not rely on the Federal Gov’t. Most urban areas are controlled by either Democrats or Moderate Republicans. Democratic to Moderate states could do a city/state/builder partnership so that all parties share the burden…the key being making housing more affordable and climate friendly

how much housing you build does matter, you just have to build massive amounts of housing. potentially massive amounts of social housing. cheap social housing in Vienna actually puts major downward pressure on rents by private developers
