When evaluating policy you should always ask: "What will create the largest public good?"

Like this might seem obvious, but I feel like I see a lot of ideological driven arguments online, and it can sometimes be hard to pin point why it feels like ideology. I think talking in terms of policy and outcomes can help cut right through this.
