As an illustrator myself this large visual story was the perfect welcome to the Toronto Metro Convention center where the #MSAITour kicks off today! Join us for a packed day of labs, talks, hub demos and discussion- all kicking off with a keynote this morning! Fine me for 2X lab sessions 12-3:30pm

I’ll walk you through the steps to build a custom retail copilot for first on Azure AI Foundry- and give you a sandbox that you can take back home and revisit on your own to explore optional ideas or dive deeper into the details behind the development! aka.ms/aitour/WRK550 #MSAITour #MSFTAdvocate

Packed room for the keynote at MSAITour - going to keep this thread open to share interesting things I hear or learn today

Listening to Alysa Taylor set the stage for keynote by identifying the three major shifts that moved the industry before- mobile, internet and cloud And now the shift to AI with the Copilot ecosystem as your AI powered companion Copilot = UI for AI Human + Copilot + Agents Me + AI + Automation

Got a chance to check out the ‘Make a postcard with Trustworthy AI’ booth before the crowds file in. A great use of AI to create an image of you based on your personalized prompt with Microsoft Designer. Let me say that it did a good enough job that you will recognize me by the outfit at least 😁

Currently proctoring a full house for WRk551 workshop teaching you to build an multi-agent creative assistant application using Azure OpenAI

The hub was still open - two booths that I found useful to visit. Are you an entrepreneur? Check out the Microsoft For Startups booth, ask about Founders Hub! Are you a learner- talk to Erik at the Microsoft Learn booth to learn about resources & certifications

And always a joy to visit the Community booth - ask Betsy about the MVP program and Alicia about Microsoft Reactor Toronto. great to meet MVPs in person ❤️
