Carpe diem, indeed 30y as well and the change we experienced in our industry is mind boggling. But that’s the fun about it. Learn something, try something, share the love for tech and make others better.

Close to 30 years in consulting and completely agree - despite all the books (McKinsey, HP, Weinberg, etc.) and countless clients, I'm still constantly learning. Just as much about what I don't want to do as what I do. Each engagement teaches something new. Never stop learning!

My message to someone starting. Credibility follows the Paint Drip model. You don't arrive, you just keep dripping. You're only as good as your last two engagements. Stay Comb-Shaped. Swing between leader and doer. Those doer drips give your leadership edge. Without them, it's empty talk.
